Ciprofloxacin

環丙沙星

Mechanism of action:

Ciprofloxacin 是第二代氟喹諾酮類（fluoroquinolone）生素，屬於 DNA 旋轉酶（DNA gyrase，細菌的拓撲異構酶 II，topoisomerase II）的抑制劑。Ciprofloxacin 會與 DNA 旋轉酶-DNA 複合體結合，使 DNA 旋轉酶產生的斷裂 DNA 無法被重新接合，導致 DNA 雙股斷裂累積，DNA 複製與轉錄停止，最終細菌死亡。
