Colchicine

Colchicine 是一種微管抑制劑（anti-microtubule agent），最早從植物秋水仙（Colchicum autumnale）中萃取而得。Colchicine 能可逆性結合於微管蛋白二聚體（tubulin dimer），阻止其聚合成微管（microtubules），導致細胞骨架不穩定。由於微管也是紡錘體的主要組成，colchicine 會阻止細胞分裂停滯於中期（metaphase），因此具有「抗有絲分裂」特性。在痛風中，尿酸鹽晶體沉積於關節會活化嗜中性球（neutrophil），colchicine 藉由抑制微管聚合的能力，能抑制嗜中性球移動、吞噬作用、發炎性細胞激素（如 IL-1β）釋放等。
