Cycloserine

環絲氨酸

Mechanism of action:

Cycloserine 是一種胺基酸類抗生素(amino acid analog antibiotic)。Cycloserine 能抑制 D-丙胺酸消旋酶(D-alanine racemase)活性,使 L-alanine 無法轉化為 D-alanine,D-alanine 是細菌細胞壁肽聚糖(peptidoglycan)的成分之一。Cycloserine 也能抑制 D-丙胺酸-D-丙胺酸連接酶(D-alanine-D-alanine ligase)的活性,讓 D-alanine-D-alanine 無法生成,同樣阻止肽聚糖的生成。
