Dexamethasone

Dexamethasone 是一種合成糖皮質激素（synthetic glucocorticoid），屬於氟化皮質類固醇（fluorinated corticosteroid）衍生物。Dexamethasone 能穿透細胞膜，與細胞質內的糖皮質激素受體（glucocorticoid receptor，GR） 結合，並進入細胞核後調控基因轉錄。抑制促發炎基因（如 IL-1、IL-6、TNF-α、COX-2）的表達，促進抗發炎基因（如 Annexin-1）的表達。
