Doxorubicin

Mechanism of action:
Doxorubicin 是一種蒽環類（anthracycline）衍生物。Doxorubicin 具有平面芳香環，可插入 DNA 鹼基對之間，造成 DNA 雙股扭曲，阻斷 DNA 進行轉錄與複製。Doxorubicin 也會抑制拓撲異構酶 II（topoisomerase II），使 DNA-酵素的斷裂複合體被穩定化並阻止 DNA 重新接合，導致 DNA 斷裂累積，細胞修復壓力增加，最終可誘導細胞凋亡。
