Econazole

益康唑

Mechanism of action:

Econazole 是一種咪唑類（imidazole）衍生物。Econazole 能抑制黴菌的羊毛甾醇-14α-脫甲基酶（lanosterol 14α-demethylase，CYP51A1），該酵素負責將羊毛固醇（lanosterol）轉化為麥角固醇（ergosterol）。當此步驟被阻斷，黴菌的細胞膜結構會變得不完整，且羊毛固醇因為無法轉化而不斷堆積，引起毒性，最終讓真菌生長受抑或死亡。
