Ezetimibe

Mechanism of action:

Ezetimibe 是一種膽固醇吸收抑制劑（cholesterol absorption inhibitor）。Ezetimibe 能抑制NPC1L1 轉運蛋白的活性。NPC1L1（Niemann-Pick C1-Like 1）是小腸上皮細胞負責吸收膽固醇的重要轉運蛋白。當 ezetimibe 抑制 NPC1L1 後，能阻止飲食中的膽固醇與膽汁中膽固醇進入腸上皮細胞。
