Mechanism of action:
Fondaparinux 是一種合成五醣類(synthetic pentasaccharide)。Fondaparinux 與抗凝血酶(antithrombin;舊稱 antithrombin III)結合後,會使抗凝血酶的構形改變,顯著增強其對凝血因子 Xa(factor Xa)的抑制能力,阻止凝血酶原(prothrombin)轉變成凝血酶(thrombin),進而降低凝血酶生成並抑制血栓形成與擴大。
