Frovatriptan

Mechanism of action:
Frovatriptan 是一種選擇性血清素 5-HT₁B/5-HT₁D 受體促效劑。Frovatriptan 能活化顱內血管平滑肌上的 5-HT₁B 受體，使腦膜與顱內血管收縮，減少血管性疼痛訊號。Frovatriptan 也能活化位於三叉神經末梢的 5-HT₁D 受體，抑制 P 物質（substance P）、神經激肽A（neurokinin A）等促發炎與疼痛神經胜肽釋放，降低神經性發炎與痛覺傳遞。
