Fusidic acid

夫西地酸

Mechanism of action:

Fusidic acid 是一種類固醇型抗生素（steroidal antibiotic）。Fusidic acid 會專一性結合於細菌的延伸因子 G（elongation factor G）與核糖體形成的複合體，阻止延伸因子 G 在 GTP 水解後從核糖體上脫離，這會導致核糖體無法前進，肽鏈合成被迫中止。
