Granisetron

Mechanism of action:
Granisetron 是一種選擇性血清素 5-HT₃ 受體拮抗劑（selective 5-HT₃ receptor antagonist）。化療或放療會刺激腸道的腸嗜鉻細胞（enterochromaffin cells）釋放大量血清素（5-HT），血清素活化迷走神經上的 5-HT₃ 受體後，會將嘔吐訊號傳送至中樞神經。Granisetron 能結合與阻斷 5-HT₃ 受體，抑制 5-HT₃ 受體介導的迷走傳入訊號，降低嘔吐反射路徑的活化。
