Idarubicin

Mechanism of action:
Idarubicin 是一種蒽環類抗腫瘤抗生素（anthracycline antineoplastic antibiotic）。Idarubicin 可插入 DNA 的鹼基對之間，造成 DNA 雙股結構扭曲，阻礙 DNA 與 RNA 聚合酶的正常作用，抑制 DNA 複製與轉錄。Idarubicin 也可穩定 DNA-拓樸異構酶 II 的切割複合體，阻止 DNA 斷裂後的再接合，造成雙股 DNA 斷裂累積，進而誘發細胞凋亡。
