Mechanism of action:
Ixabepilone 是一種埃博霉素類（epothilone）微管抑制劑。Ixabepilone 可結合於微管上的 β-tubulin，過度穩定微管，阻止微管正常解聚，使細胞無法完成有絲分裂。微管動態受阻後，細胞週期會停留在 G₂/M 期，最後啟動細胞凋亡。
