Mechlorethamine

甲氮芥

Mechanism of action:

Mechlorethamine 是一種具烷化反應性的化合物(alkylating agent),屬於氮芥類(nitrogen mustard)化合物。Mechlorethamine 在體內會自發性環化,形成具有強親電子性的 aziridinium ion,能與 DNA 上的鳥糞嘌呤(guanine)N7 位點結合,造成 DNA 單股烷化、DNA 雙股間或同股交聯,使 DNA 結構無法正常解旋與複製,導致細胞無法順利分裂。
