Mechanism of action:
Megestrol acetate 是一種合成型黃體製劑（synthetic progestin），屬於孕酮（progesterone）衍生物。Megestrol acetate 會與孕酮受體（progesterone receptor）結合，形成藥物-受體複合體並進入細胞核，調控特定基因的轉錄，使組織表現出黃體期樣的生理反應。Megestrol acetate 可作用於下視丘，改變食慾調節相關神經肽的平衡，被認為與增加神經肽 Y（NPY）活性、抑制發炎性細胞激素（如 TNF-α、IL-1）有關，最終改變食慾與能量攝取相關的中樞調控。
