Melphalan

Mechanism of action:

Melphalan 是一種具烷化反應性的化合物（alkylating agent），屬於氮芥類（nitrogen mustard）衍生物。Melphalan 在體內會形成高度反應性的 aziridinium ion，能與 DNA 上的鳥糞嘌呤（guanine）N7 位點結合，造成 DNA 單股烷化、DNA 雙股間或同股交聯，使 DNA 結構無法正常解旋與複製，導致細胞無法順利分裂。
