Nifurtimox
硝呋莫司
Mechanism of action:
Nifurtimox 是一種硝基呋喃類（nitrofuran）衍生物。Nifurtimox 進入寄生蟲後，會被還原酶轉化為活性中間物。這些中間物會產生高度反應性的自由基，包含超氧陰離子（O₂⁻）、過氧化氫（H₂O₂）、氫氧自由基（•OH）等。自由基會攻擊寄生蟲的 DNA、蛋白質、脂質膜，最終導致細胞死亡。
