Mechanism of action:
Oxcarbazepine 是一種二苯並氮䓬類（dibenzazepine）衍生物，需經代謝轉換為帶有 10-單羥基（10-monohydroxy）的活性代謝物後進行作用。活性代謝物能與神經元膜上的電壓門控鈉離子通道（voltage-gated Na⁺ channels）結合，穩定其不活化狀態，阻止過度重複開啟與高頻動作電位產生。
