Selegiline

Mechanism of action:

Selegiline 是一種選擇性單胺氧化酶 B 抑制劑（selective monoamine oxidase-B inhibitor）。單胺氧化酶 B（monoamine oxidase-B）是負責在腦內分解多巴胺（dopamine）的主要酵素之一。Selegiline 與單胺氧化酶 B 共價結合後，使其酵素失去活性，導致神經突觸間隙的多巴胺濃度上升，增強多巴胺訊號在紋狀體（striatum）中的作用。
