Succimer

二巰基丁二酸

Mechanism of action:

Succimer 是一種重金屬螯合劑（heavy metal chelating agent），化學名稱為二巰基丁二酸（dimercaptosuccinic acid，DMSA）。Succimer 分子含有兩個巰基（-SH），可與鉛（Pb²⁺）、汞（Hg²⁺）、砷（As³⁺）等金屬離子形成穩定的環狀螯合結構，減少這些金屬離子對神經系統、造血系統與腎臟的傷害。
