Theobromine

可可鹼

Mechanism of action:

Theobromine 是一種甲基黃嘌呤類(methylxanthine)化合物。Theobromine 對磷酸二酯酶(phosphodiesterase)的抑制能力明顯弱於咖啡因(caffeine)與茶鹼(theophylline),但仍可使細胞內 cAMP、cGMP 濃度輕度上升,進而導致平滑肌放鬆、輕度支氣管擴張、血管舒張等。Theobromine 能輕微拮抗腺苷受體(adenosine receptor)A₁ 與 A₂A 受體,減少腺苷對中樞神經的抑制性影響。
