Zileuton

Mechanism of action:

Zileuton 是一種白三烯生成抑制劑（leukotriene synthesis inhibitor），屬於 5-脂氧合酶抑制劑（5-lipoxygenase inhibitor）。Zileuton 可直接抑制 5-脂氧合酶（5-lipoxygenase），阻止花生四烯酸（arachidonic acid）轉化為白三烯 A₄（leukotriene A4）。由於白三烯 A₄ 是所有白三烯的共同前驅物，其生成受阻後，會同時降低所有白三烯的生成，進而抑制白三烯引起的發炎反應。
